Julie Beckett is a highly experienced psychoanalytic psychotherapist, registered with UKCP, FIP and the IEDTA.
She qualified from The Severnside Institute of Psychotherapy in 2014 and worked intensively in private practice in Bristol before completing the Core training in ISTDP (2016).

She offers ISTDP therapy both in person in Cornwall, as well as online to people all around the world.
She also offers ISTDP supervision, and is particularly interested in working with clinicians who are new to this complicated model of working.
Julie originally trained as an actress at The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, where she first became interested in the unconscious drivers that can lead to psychological distress.
After completing the three-year Core training in ISTDP she has gone on to complete a number of advanced trainings, as well as becoming a shadower to a Core training, running over three years. She is currently in an advanced supervision mobilisation group with Dr. Jonathan Entis.
